Center Stage Productions

Center Stage Productions brings the most authentic musical theatre experience to the youth of San Diego County. Each participant is:
- exposed to current, popular musical drama and comedy with the family-friendly story lines audiences enjoy as well as the innovation sought by youth
- given authentic costuming, staging, lighting, sound and more
- works with live musicians at a professional venue, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido

Center Stage Production's goals are to:
- produce high-quality theatre in San Diego County
- foster an appreciation for American Broadway musical theatre
- provide children an opportunity to participate in live musical theatre, regardless of their ability to pay
- keep ticket prices affordable

To satisfy these goals, we:
- use a live orchestra, quality sets, drops and costumes, and a professional venue
- select current, popular musical drama and comedy with the family-friendly story lines that audiences enjoy as well as the innovation sought by youth
- Center Stage Productions grants every scholarship request we receive. Each year, we provide over $1,200 in scholarships to help students with financial hardships praticipate.
